The Medicept Dental Self Post is a comprehensive dental product designed to simplify and enhance post and core restorations. Medicept Dental Self Post is made of reinforced composite material. These self-posts consist of high-strength “S” type glass fibers, accounting for approximately 60% of the composite. This composition provides exceptional strength and durability, ensuring long-term stability for dental restorations. The matrix of the composite is an epoxy resin with a high conversion degree and a high glass transition temperature (Tg). This combination guarantees excellent bonding and stability of the self-posts, even under challenging conditions such as occlusal forces. The high Tg of the epoxy resin allows it to withstand elevated temperatures without compromising its structural integrity.

With an extremely high flexure resistance of 1500 MPa and a high and balanced flexure elastic modulus of 60 GPa, the self-posts in the Medicept Dental Self Post offer superior mechanical properties. These properties enable them to withstand bending forces and provide reliable support for dental restorations. Radiopacity is an important feature in dental materials, and the self-posts in the Medicept Dental Self Post achieve an appropriate level of radiopacity.
