The matrix of the composite is an epoxy resin with a high conversion degree and a high glass transition temperature (Tg). This combination guarantees excellent bonding and stability of the self-posts, even under challenging conditions such as occlusal forces. The high Tg of the epoxy resin allows it to withstand elevated temperatures without compromising its structural integrity.
