Description
SafeEndo GlassyLute is a radiopaque glass ionomer luting cement formulated from fluoroaluminosilicate glass powder combined with a polyacrylic, maleic, and tartaric acid liquid system. Designed for the permanent fixation of crowns, dental bridgework, inlays, onlays, and orthodontic brackets, it forms a chemically adhesive bond to hard tooth tissue while offering high biocompatibility and a fine 10-micron film thickness for accurate seating.
Once mixed, GlassyLute hardens into a cement with a compressive strength of approximately 185 MPa and strong resistance to acid erosion, supporting long-term marginal stability. Its fluoroaluminosilicate glass filler continuously accumulates and releases fluoride ions, providing a prolonged anticaries effect at the restoration margin.
The cement's aesthetic properties and reliable adhesion make it suitable for luting metal-free crowns and bridges fabricated from high-strength ceramics, alongside conventional metal and PFM restorations.
