Description
GDC Wax Knife Spatula Fahnenstock Large (WKFL) is used to carve and sculpt wax patterns for model and impression work. Its larger blade makes it the workhorse choice for full-arch denture wax-up, where finer Lessmann-pattern knives are generally reserved for crown-and-bridge detail work. Like other knives in GDC's Lessmann & Fahnenstock range, it is double-ended and can be heated to soften the wax while fashioning the pattern.
Manufactured by GDC Fine Crafted Dental Pvt. Ltd. in India, the knife is made of medical-grade stainless steel, offering durability and corrosion resistance, and features a large, ergonomically designed handle for a better operative fit and lightweight, low-fatigue handling. It is autoclavable at 135°C for routine sterilization.
