Description

GDC Extraction Forceps Upper Roots (FX51AS) is a standard-line extraction forceps designed for use in upper roots exodontia procedures. The beak is shaped to conform closely to the root and crown contour of the target tooth position, allowing a secure, stable grip during extraction. 

Manufactured by GDC Fine Crafted Dental Pvt. Ltd., this instrument is produced from high-grade stainless steel to international quality standards (UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, UNI EN ISO 13485:2003, CE compliance). Handles are made from AISI 304-class 3 austenitic stainless steel for high resistance to wear and corrosion, while working tips are manufactured from AISI 420-class 4 martensitic stainless steel, offering strong resilience and excellent resistance to wear, corrosion, and torsional stress. 

The handle design is shaped to maximize the force transmitted to the beak while remaining comfortable to hold, following the lever-and-fulcrum mechanics standard to extraction forceps: the handles form the long side of the lever, the beak the short side, and the hinge the fulcrum. Its slim, tapered beak is designed for grasping and removing retained root fragments in the maxillary arch.
