GC Fuji Gold Label 9 is a high-strength, strontium-reinforced glass ionomer restorative, designed for use in posterior teeth. It combines the benefits of traditional glass ionomers with improved physical properties to support long-term performance.

The inclusion of strontium glass enhances radiopacity and provides a quick setting behavior ("snap set") favored by practitioners. Strontium also plays a role in remineralization, forming compounds within the tooth similar to natural hydroxyapatite, helping to reinforce tooth structure from within.

In the oral environment, calcium from saliva interacts with the glass ionomer to create a surface-strengthening effect. Over time, this leads to increased durability. Additionally, GC Fuji Gold Label 9 forms a chemical bond with tooth tissue, creating a reliable and long-lasting seal through ion exchange.

Directions to Use: How to Use

After conditioning the tooth surface with GC Dentin Conditioner (10% polyacrylic acid), apply the Gold Label 9 or Fuji IX GP in Capsule mixed accordingly into the cavity
Form the contour and place a matrix if required during the working time
After initial set, when the material starts to lose the glossy appearance, moisture protectwith GC Cocoa Butter or GC Fuji Varnish or GC Fuji Coat LC
Final finishing under water spray can be carried out at the recommended times from start of mix.
After finishing, apply a final coat of GC Fuji Varnish or GC Fuji Coat LC as a protective coating.
Alternatively, application of a final protective coat of G-Coat PLUS can improve wear resistance
