AmmDent D-Pulp | Pulp Devitalising Paste

AmmDent D-Pulp is a pulp devitalising paste formulated to assist in the controlled devitalisation of the dental pulp during endodontic and restorative procedures. With a thick, stable consistency, it allows for precise placement and effective sealing within the treatment site.

The paste contains Paraformaldehyde as the active ingredient, offering controlled release upon application for predictable treatment outcomes. AmmDent D-Pulp is especially indicated in cases of pulp exposure following caries excavation, preparing the site for future endodontic procedures such as pulp extirpation and canal filling.

Recommended use involves applying a small pellet (approx. 10 mg) of the paste to the exposed pulp and sealing the cavity with cement. The material is intended for use on a single tooth, not exceeding two applications, with a waiting period of 7–10 days before proceeding with further treatment. Proper sealing is critical to prevent any potential leakage or exposure.
