Ammdent Cavitemp is a self-curing temporary filling cement designed to seal cavities between restorative appointments. It sets under normal oral humidity, without requiring a separate curing light or mixing step, making it a convenient option for interim restorations.

Formulated from zinc oxide, calcium sulfate, and zinc sulfate, Cavitemp hardens within minutes of placement and forms a barrier that is impermeable to medicaments placed within the cavity, helping protect intracanal dressings or exposed dentin until the next visit.

Once fully set, Cavitemp is designed to resist everyday chewing forces while remaining straightforward to remove with standard rotary instruments or hand instruments when it's time to place the permanent restoration.
