Septodont Septanest 4% Articaine with 1:100,000 Epinephrine is a solution for injection formulated for local and locoregional anesthesia in dental procedures. Each 1.7 ml cartridge contains 68.000 mg of Articaine hydrochloride and 0.030 mg of Epinephrine tartrate (equivalent to 0.017 mg of adrenaline base), designed for quick and effective pain management during dental surgeries. The solution also includes stabilizing excipients like sodium chloride and sodium edetate, ensuring sterility and stability.
Septanest is ideal for adults and children over 4 years old, particularly for longer procedures or situations where there is a significant risk of bleeding. The inclusion of Epinephrine aids in vasoconstriction, helping to control bleeding while ensuring prolonged anesthetic action.
