PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
AXO | DETECTIVE is a red FD & C dye in a propylene glycol base. AXO | DETECTIVE assists the clinician in visual differenti- ation between the infected carious dentine and sound DEntine and re-mineralizable dentine by its ability to selectively dye the carious dentine.
Composition : Red F D & C dye, Propylene Glycol
Indications : Caries indication by visual & DENTINE differentiation between infected carious dentine & sound, remineralizable dentine.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE :
CLINICAL PROCEDURES:
• ISOLATE CARIOUS TOOTH WITH RUBBER DAM PRIOR TO APPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT.
• AFTER WASHING AND DRYING THE CARIOUS TOOTH, PLACE ONE DROP OF THE PRODUCT ON A DISPOSABLE BRUSH AND APPLY IT TO THE CAVITY.
• AFTER 10 SECONDS, WASH IT WITH WATER.
• REMOVE THE EXPOSED OUTER CARIOUS DENTIN WHICH IS STAINED RED
• REPEAT DETECTION AND REDUCTION A FEW MORE TIMES TO ENSURE COMPLETE REMOVAL OF THE OUTER CARIOUS DENTIN.

WARNING :
Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin (allergic contact dermatitis), and eyes. Avoid prolonged inhalation. Do not take internally contact with the skin may cause irritation, burns of hypersensitivity. If contact with skin occurs immediately wipe off thoroughly with cotton and alcohol and then wash well with soap and water. If skin rash and sensitization or other allergic reaction occurs discontinue use and seek medical attention. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and consult a physician. It should not be used with patients who have a history of severe allergic reaction to any of the components.

CAUTION :
A low speed rotary instrument should be used for removing the carious dentine since frictional heat generated by the high speed tool can cause pain before all the stained outer carious dentine is removed.
Contraindications : AXO | DETECTIVE does not contain any hazardous ingredients in sufficient concentration to be harmful to human beings and causing irritation to oral tissues when used as directed.
Storage Conditions : Store at temperature between 10°C to 24°C. Close the cap carefully after use. Keep away from moisture. Shelf life not affected after opening if stored in a cool dry place.
Shelf Life : 3 Years from the date of manufacturing
