Description

GC Gold Label Hybrid is a hand-mixed, self-adhesive glass ionomer restorative formulated for posterior applications. Powered by GC’s Advanced Glass Hybrid Technology, it combines two types of Fluoro-Alumino-Silicate (FAS) glass and two types of polyacrylic acid to deliver improved strength, acid resistance, and clinical handling.

A smart particle size distribution contributes to enhanced mechanical strength, while finer FAS glass particles reduce light scattering for better translucency and visual integration with surrounding tooth tissue. The formulation promotes a high fluoride release profile and improved acid resistance, supporting long-term performance and protection in challenging oral environments.

POWDER AND LIQUID DISPENSING a) The standard powder to liquid ratio is 3.0 g/1.0g (1 level scoop of powder to 1 drop of liquid). b) For accurate dispensing of powder, lightly tap the bottle against the hand. Do not shake or invert. c) Hold the liquid bottle vertically and squeeze gently. d) Immediately close the bottles tightly after use.

#.
2. CAVITY PREPARATION a) Prepare tooth using standard techniques. Extensive mechanical retention is unnecessary. For pulp capping, use calcium hydroxide. Note: Optionally, CAVITY CONDITIONER or DENTIN CONDITIONER can be applied to the bonding surfaces. b) Rinse thoroughly with water. Blot away excess water with a cotton pellet or dry by gently blowing with an air syringe. DO NOT DESICCATE. Prepared surfaces should appear moist (glistening).

#.
4. RESTORATIVĒ TECHNIQUE a) Mix the required amount of cement. Working time is 145 from start of mixing at 23C (73"F). Higher temperatures will shorten working time. b) Transfer cement to the prepared cavity using a suitable instrument. Avoid air bubbles c) Form the preliminary contour and cover with a matrix if required d) When set, immediately apply GC Fuji VARNISH (blow dry) or G-COAT PLŪS (light cure)

#.
5. FINISHING a) Final finishing under water spray using standard techniques can begin at 6 minutes after starting the mix. b) Apply a final coat of GC Fuji VARNIŠH or G-COAT PLUS. c) Instruct the patient not to apply pressure for 1 hour.
