Description
COLTENE ParaCore Slow Intro Kit is a dual-cure resin-based material developed for core build-up, post cementation, and cementing of indirect restorations. Its composite formulation, which includes methacrylates, fluoride, barium glass, and amorphous silica, provides both mechanical strength and radiographic visibility.
ParaCore helps rebuild structurally compromised teeth by forming a stable base for crowns or bridges. It bonds securely to dental structures and posts using the ParaBond adhesive system, which improves bond integrity in root canals and core applications.
This material is suitable for use with ceramic, metal, or composite restorations. It sets via chemical or light polymerization, allowing flexibility in different clinical situations. The working time may vary with temperature, and care should be taken to avoid premature exposure to curing lights.
